Today is definitely one of those grey gloomy days. I would have posted earlier but I was meeting a friend for lunch (and a glass of wine!). To be honest this is not a look that I normally wear. I usually don't like wearing pants, but this kind of weather made it a necessity, especially because I don't feel like wearing tights. I figured I'd give these toothpick ankle cords another spin before they get put away for the spring/summer. This Zara button down is Sophia's, and she always looked so cute in it so I decided I'd try it out too! Even though I am really not used to tucking stuff in, I always feel like I will come undone any second. But I did really like the way it looked, especially with my In-Flight Jacket layered on top.
hi rosa! i didn't know you had a fashion blog, i just stumbled upon it randomly while browsing. you are too cute!

I love the Smiths reference. =) Adorable outfit, as always!
ReplyDeleteLove the Smiths too :)
ReplyDeleteI love this look on you - those pants make your legs look lean and, wll, leggy! Those are some fabulous shoes too!
Those pants look better on you than me! You've got great legs. I like this outfit, and the whole menswear inspired look you got going.
ReplyDeleteI love those shoes!
ReplyDeletebtw, where did you get your wall decals?
I am so jealous of your new Michael Kors collection, seriously. All the shoes you've been showing are darling! I love that brand.
ReplyDeletelove this color combo, also, those shooooesss!
ReplyDeleteOk, those shoes are cuuuuuute!
ReplyDeleteYou've got the perfect slouchy shirt thing going on.
ReplyDeleteAnd those heels kickass! Are they comfy for walking around in? I kind of really want them but don't think I can rock a 5" heel like you do (or at all, for that matter).
Wow, awesome jacket. Great cut and color... and those shoes!! Total Fash-gasm!!
ReplyDeleteLa Stylin Girraffe!
Dang, soooo mannnyyyy preeetttyyy shoooeeesss!
ReplyDeleteI love the vibe of this outfit--very menswear inspired, very city chic. And goodness I hope you do a round up post of all of the shoes you scored for us!! You keep unveiling more MK pairs and each one is more amazing than the last.
ReplyDeleteI so love this outfit and your legs look amazing in those cords! Can't get enough of the MK shoes - each one better than the last, it's genious!!
ReplyDeleteI love the detailing on the shoes! I love the whole outfit really- women always look really sexy in something vaguely masculine.
ReplyDeleteI love your shoes, and those pants are great on you!
ReplyDeleteIs that the Anthro Lift-Off Jacket without the flower pin, or is this a different jacket? Super cute on you!
cute outfit and i love the wallpaper/background its so pretty. and those shoes are yum!
ReplyDeleteBetsy,
ReplyDeleteThe wall decal is from amazon! Here is a link.
Lisa,
The platform definitely makes a huge difference. And I always have a pair of flats in my purse, just in case I need them.
Kim,
This is the anthro lift off jacket! I just didn't love the flower so I took it off.
Those are some sweet shoes! I feel the same way about tucking in my shirts – I always feel so awkward, but you are totally right about how this looks...a winner!
ReplyDeleteI love it. Were you the one who said you didn't like wearing skinnies? Because if you were, you look SMASHING in them! I always have an issue with tucking things into pants because my pants are typically low-rise, which makes things way too prone to coming undone. But I agree with you, I love how that shirt looks tucked in!
ReplyDeleteYou look fabulous in this outfit. It's casual but still chic, especially with those shoes! I wish I could rock a 5 inch heel.
ReplyDeleteI might have to copy this, perhaps for my upcoming visit to NYC. Don't be upset if you see a copy cat running around, lol.
