All Tuckered Out

What I'm wearing:
*Tucker for Target Signature Dress in Diamond Print
*Forever 21 Elastic Velcro Loop Belt in Brown
*Nine West "Lucero" Pump in Wine Patent (similar here)
*MICHAEL Michael Kors Hamilton Tote in Luggage

Ok, it's official, Tucker for Target is definitely my favorite Target/designer collaboration. I'm usually disappointed by these (I'm talking to you, Botkier, Hayden-Harnett, Anna Sui, Rodarte) but I have much love for the Tucker line. I've always been a fan of Tucker's printed dresses, but could never justify buying one at the higher price point. I love that now I can enjoy a lovely signature dress at a Target price. This appeals to the thrifty bargain lover in me.

I decided to pair this particular dress with a brown elastic belt from Forever 21 (it was under $5!) to give some shape to the blouse-y dress. The wine patent pumps pick up the bits of red in the print. I really love the bird lawn print (see it on me here) but I think the diamond print dress is my favorite out of the whole line. I'm a lucky girl because this dress was sold out at my local Target, and sold out online, and my lovely friend S snagged one for me at hers! Thank you so very much.

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was filled with apartment-related stuff, and I'm still no where close to being settled. I did finally grab everything that I had left in my storage space when I first left NYC, which is great, but it was a huge pain getting it all to my new place. I just have to say that I couldn't have done it without M, who was amazing and lugged all of my heavy suitcases and things up 3 flights of stairs, with no complaint. What more can a girl ask for?

On a random note, after watching Mad Men last night, I really want a pen necklace like Joan! Anyone know where I can get one?

  1. I love it!

Today I'm wearing a Tucker dress too! (The orange floral short-sleeved one.) I agree, it's my favorite collaboration yet! I have two more on the way from my mom, bringing me up to four pieces (so far) from this line!

You'll be settled in before you know it. I think I could handle a walk-up EXCEPT for the moving part - what a pain!

  2. Would you believe I've never seen Mad Men? I'm kind of dying because it's not on NetFlix either and I really want to start watching it!

You look fantastic in that dress, so glad your friend picked it up for you! What a great friend!

  3. That dress looks great on you and paired with that belt. I have the purple lawn print dress (like the other one you have) and I've paired it with a skinny belt but I'm going to try it with a wide belt like you did.

  7. This dress is so much better on you than it looked to me on the hanger! I passed on the Tucker collab, but after seeing a few pieces on you, I know I want to go back and take another look.

  8. Love this dress on you. And I agree, this was my fave print out of the whole line too. But I just can't do polyester and I always regret buying things from these Target collaboration lines. But you rock it and are making me re-think my reasoning!

  13. That outfit is perfection on you, Rosa. I had to skip the collection since none of the patterns/colors worked for me, but it looks so good on you!

And yes! Another Mad Men fan. I'd take almost everything Joanie wears, mmhm.
