Quick Snap: First Day of Work



What I'm wearing:
*J.Crew Navy Blazer
*Forever 21 Bird Print Top
*Madewell Skinny Jeans
*Target "Kasia" Boots in Cognac
*Forever 21 Reading Glasses Necklace


This is actually what I wore yesterday on my first day of work! I was really busy all day and exhausted when i was home to post unfortunately. A blazer always makes me feel all business-y. Luckily my office is super casual so I can continue wearing whatever I want. I wanted to look put together for my first day at my new position, but not look overly dressed up. This look was perfect for that I think, and it worked great for drinks after work with a girlfriend as well!

I'm working on some fitting room reviews from LOFT... so keep an eye out for those!

    I've almost bought that top twice now - the prink is so quirky and fun, but that shade of pink does NOT work with my coloring. I love it on you, though, and the blazer dresses it up nicely!

    I'm glad your first day of work went well! Your outfit is perfect, too -- pulled together, but not overly so. The blazer is a great touch! I am envious of that wonderful bird-print top, too -- when did you snag that from F21?

    I seriously just snagged that top off a mannequin at my store. THey have it on hold when they take down the display, it's mine! Love it and great outfit. Thanks for making me run over to my local store and snag the last one in the shop!

    I have the bird blouse, too, and I love it! I like how you styled it with a blazer. It's such a playful print but you make it look sophisticated.
