Still Like Kissin' in Cars

What I'm wearing:
*BCBG Cashmere Bell Sleeve Sweater (similar here)
*Gap Square Print Pleated Skirt
*Hue Opaque Tights in Heathered Grey
*Target Kasia Boots in Cognac
*Forever 21 Necklace
*anthropologie Felt Flower Hair Clip (similar here)
*Michael Kors Glitz Chronograph Watch in Rose Gold

Feeling a little burnt out today. I blame a big chunk of it on the dreary weather. Whenever I see bloggers from the South or the West coat, I am filled with jealousy at the sight of their bare legs and light jackets.

I'm not really sure about the amount of grey that is in this outfit. I started off with a different idea in my mind, but of course I was rushing in the morning, couldn't find the top I was looking for, and kind of settled for this. I do love this brightly printed skirt (bought on clearance at Gap!) and still love these Target cognac boots.

The title of this post is from a song off of the Country Strong soundtrack, which I am currently obsessed with. I love country, and I haven't even seen this movie yet, but I can't stop listening to the music from the movie!

  1. I am going to download the soundtrack today, thanks for the info!!! First think I thought about your outfit was how much I loved all the grey! I always look at your blog and think how awesome it would be to live in NYC!! I have never been (gasp!) and always think that would be the coolest place to live!

  2. You look adorable! Love the bright punch of colors with your skirt, and I think you wore just the right amount of gray :)

  3. Haha, I thought I was the only Asian in the world that loved country music (I blame a high school boyfriend for that). I'll have to check out this album. And I for one, really wish it was a little colder out here, so I could make use of all my snuggly warm winter clothing! I got a couple really beautiful scarves for Christmas which it's just been too warm to wear. =P

  4. Ooh! I want to see that movie! The skirt is a great pop against a canas of grey! I like it!

  5. I bought this skirt on clearance for practically free and am so glad to see some inspiration for it. You look fabulous and I love the grey with it.

  6. I'm jealous of the wesside too. And the euros. Basically anyone who doesn't know what a down coat is or where to buy one.

I was looking at rose gold watches last night even though I never wear a watch. That's your fault!

  7. I love the gray with this! It is unexpected but adds texture and depth to the look. I am kicking myself for missing this skirt!

  8. You can never go wrong with gray! I think the colorful printed skirt breaks the outfit up enough that the gray is chic and not overkill.

PS - And those of us West Coast bloggers sometimes get jealous of you people with actual seasons. Bare legs in January should be a crime.

  9. Wow I love this Rosa! i'd love to wear something like this every weekend.
I'm not a major fan of country music. The closest I've come to it is Taylor Swift! - does that even count as country?

  10. I really like those boots! How are the soles? I'm super clumsy and scraped my knee when I wore the Steve Madden Intyce ones out the other day. :[ So good soles are important to me!
