See the World
What I'm wearing:
*anthropologie Curlytop Cardigan in Ivory
*LOFT Sequin Tank in Nude (similar here)
*anthropologie Fulmar Sweater Skirt
*Gap Over the Knee Socks in Cream (similar here)
*anthropologie Cherry Picked Boots (similar here)
*Gap Canvas & Leather Trim Satchel (suede version here)
Have you ever just thought about an item that you've had in your closet forever, and develop a certain urge to wear it immediately? That's what happened with my anthropologie Fulmar skirt. I pretty much lept up out of bed and dug through my skirt drawer until I found this one. I really love this skirt and am happy that it's cool enough to wear a sweater skirt.
I love wearing sequins in the daytime. It just helps me feel a bit fancier! I decided to stick with neutrals to wear with this skirt, but incorporated different textures to keep it interesting. I originally was planning on wearing mary janes with this outfit, but thought the pop of cherry would be fun!
New York was lucky to have gorgeous weather this weekend!! Had fun celebrating a girlfriend's birthday, tried out a new restaurant, and went for a walk in Central Park.

wow. I've seen this skirt before but this has to be one of the best stylings of it! I love the sequins and the boots with it. What a great combination!
ReplyDeleteThis look is amazing...the ruffles, the color of the skirt contrasted with the richness of the boot...GORG! Thanks so much for sharing. Great post!

I totally know what you mean. Everytime I buy something new I tried to hold on to it, but that never works out when I'm so excited. I love how you paired it with sequins...shows that sequins can be easily transitioned into a day look. LOVE!
ReplyDeleteThis whole outfit is cute!
ReplyDeleteThose boots are soo cheerful, I love them!

GORGEOUS GORGEOUS GORGEOUS! Rosa, everything is absolutely perfect together. The color of the boots so perfectly complements the color of the skirt. You have interesting ruffles and pattern but it all goes together perfectly!

Hooray for sequins in the daytime! I think the boots were a good call, too -- it adds something wonderfully warm to the outfit. I think it's so funny that you woke up with an urge and determination to wear this skirt -- which you pull off so well! I wish I could be so decisive in the mornings, haha! I usually stand there for waaaay too long just trying to put together something to wear.
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking about a different way to wear this skirt, and here you are! I still remember your pairing with the lace F21 top that I so admired, but this, by far, is my favorite outfit with this skirt. I am going to shamelessly copy and recreate this whole look!
ReplyDeletewow you are cute my friend!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the bright color of this skirt. Sweater skirts can sometimes have drab color schemes, but this one is so bright and pretty!
ReplyDeleteThose sequins make me want a sequin shirt or skirt right now.
