I love belts. I love skinny ones, wide ones, colorful ones, woven ones, etc. I just always feel like they add that extra touch to an outfit, and also helps to define the waist. According to some people I belt too much. When I saw the City Safari Belt, I knew I had to have it. From my blog you can see that I love animal themed belts. (See my other ones here and here). I love the giraffes, and the colorful colors in the belt. Paired with a solid dress or tunic like the one I'm wearing today, I think it adds something just a bit more interesting! (Also an FYI: I fixed the bunching under the bust after seeing these photos.)
I was just playing around with my camera yesterday, and Savannah happened to be around to be my subject. I'm sure I am a crazy puppy mommy, but you have no idea how many photos of her I have on my laptop.
cute green dress...also that puppy is out of control adorable. :)
ReplyDeleteI love that color of green! And that belt is sooo cool. Store all your lipstick in there. ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd I think it's safe to say this should be a fashion/Savannah blog.

ReplyDeleteI adore this outfit! The color of the dress is fantastic on you and that belt is great. The exposed slip was such a clever addition!
ReplyDeleteI almost bought that belt and should have! It's freaking adorable! I couldnt' figure out how to wear it, but now that I know you have it, I'll have tons of styling ideas.
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful in that green tunic/dress. What a nice pop of color.

Seriously, this shade of green is your color. It looks so great with your skin tone.
ReplyDeleteI just love your animal-themed belt! :)
You "belt too much"? I'm not even sure what that means, but I don't think it's true, at any rate. This outfit is so fun and chic. The belt is very playful and is perfect with that beautiful shade of grass green. Total win!
ReplyDeleteyou have got to be kidding me? That is the neatest belt! your outfit is primo! Keep em coming!
ReplyDeleteamazing belt! i love your look today :) (but i think i say that about all your looks!)
ReplyDeletegorgeous color on you! the belt is darling.
ReplyDeletegreen is such a great color on you. i'm jealous of your tan. and you have the CUTEST puppy ever
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit! This belt is too cute and I never noticed it until now. Seriously, Rosa, I will steal your puppy if you're not careful :)
ReplyDeleteI love how you wore this with the slip! I found this recently at a thrift store and wore it on Friday, but have been struggling with how to wear it sans-pants but still be decent (it's too short to wear as a dress on its own). Amazing belt too.
ReplyDeleterufflemepretty,
ReplyDeleteI took a 2 in the Refracted Tieback top, I think it definitely runs a little bit big (I am usually a 4 in tops)
Well, I don't think that it's at all bad to have a million photos of Savannah on your computer because she is SO CUTE! A very photogenic pup indeed!
ReplyDeleteI love your collection of belts! Is it crazy that I never even noticed the Safari belt before? How could I miss it? It's so cute! The giraffes are awesome, and the belt really does kick your outfit up a notch! I love how it adds something really interesting to your green tunic. The lace slip peeping out underneath is wonderful too, and now I want to check that out for myself as well!
Man, whenever I see you in green, I feel compelled to go out and buy everything green and wear it all at once! And ahhh!!!! Isn't that belt so cute?! I think that is what I am going to treat myself to this weekend for surviving exams.
ReplyDeleteYour doggie is so cute. ITA, green is smashing on ya ;-)
ReplyDeleteLook at this site with nice belts:
