Shifting Feathers

What I'm wearing:
*anthropologie Shifting Feathers Dress (similar here)
*J.Crew Featherweight Cashmere Cardigan in Bronzed Clay? (not sure of color name) (similar here)
*anthropologie Looping Lanes Belt
*Pearl Cluster Necklace from Paradigm (Annapolis boutique) (similar here and here)
*Lanvin Patent Cap-Toe Slingbacks (similar here)

The Shifting Feathers Dress is described as grey on the website, but I would definitely say that it is blue in person. The real blue color is somewhere between the stock photo and the vibrant blue that it looks like in my photographs. The dress is super soft and very comfortable to wear. It hangs just so that it won't cling in an unflattering way. Perfect lightweight dress for summer.

I had a bit of a late start today because I celebrated Cinco de Mayo a little early last night. Found what may be my new favorite Mexican place, Hecho en Dumbo. Tried a little of everything and it was delicious! Hope everyone is celebrating today... I love Mexican food and love any excuse to grab guacamole and margaritas.

  1. *Damn* if that dress doesn't look fantastic on you Rosa! I honestly didn't think it was that exciting in the catalog, but the difference in the color makes such a difference. Now I'm chomping at the bit to get my hands on it. Great look as usual. Oh, and also as usual, I want/need your shoes =)

  5. That blue color is so much more vibrant on you than it is in the online photo! If only the Two-Wheeler Shirtdress had been that color. I had no plans to try this dress on, but now it's at the top of my "must try on" list!

  12. Wow, what a different color! I saw this in the catalog and dogeared the page. While my favorite "color" is grey (so I am a tad bit disappointed) that blue *is* really pretty. If it comes to my store I will certainly try it on! So pretty with that sweater too.

  16. like everyone says, you look lovely! just wondering about the fit of the dress. I think most of the time I take the same size as you, although sometimes I have to size up from a 4 to a 6 due to bust issues, but this dress doesn't seem to have that problem. did you take an xsmall or a small?

  18. Sam,
I am wearing an XS in this dress, it seems to run a bit big. It is also pretty stretchy. I usually wear a 4 in anthro dresses.
