First off, the title of my post has nothing to do with what I'm wearing (it rarely does), but is anyone else obsessed with the Katy Perry song?

Grey + ochre is definitely one of my favorite color combinations. I know ochre isn't for everyone, and I avoided it for a very long time, but I decided that I do like it after all. Both of the items that I am wearing are soft and lightweight, which is perfect for the weather we are having now. Summer is definitely upon us! I went out last night and felt like I was melting the whole time. The worst thing is being in a crowded bar where people have no sense of personal space. (I'm talking to you, girl from last night who kept flicking her hair in my face and leaning into me.)

I forgot how amazingly comfortable these sandals from Modern Vintage are. I think its the combination of thick straps, ankle strap, and chunky wedge heel that make them so comfortable.

I'm not completely sure how I feel about my new picture taking spot, but I think I like it! There is actually a little bookcase that sits under the piece of art, but I just moved it aside so I could take the pictures. Thank you once again to my lovely sister for taking the time to snap my photos for me.
