"Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself." - George Bernard ShawI love this quote. I oftentimes feel as if I am going through a quarter life crisis. At age 25, I should know what I'm doing right? This is not the case for me, and I've been letting it get me down. But I decided a little while ago that I need to be comfortable and happy in my own skin. One way that I am attempting to do this is through this blog. I love putting outfits together, and I really love and appreciate the comments and support from my readers. This has given me so much more confidence in myself. So I have to say thank you for the support, I really truly appreciate it.
This is an outfit that is one of my personal favorites. I love combining different textures and prints together. Love that this outfit is super comfortable, and I felt confident and cute in it. (And, of course, it's belted! Can't get enough of the Snakebite Belt.) Summer in the city is just too much fun. There is just so much out there. I've surrounded myself with some amazing people whom I am super grateful for. Life is too short to force yourself to spend time with people you cannot enjoy. This post is borderline emo and super cheesy, but that's just the way I feel.
That skirt is adorable!

ReplyDeleteCute skirt, love that cute lil print with the little splashes of color. And that top is so vibrant looks great up against your skin. I totally agree, textures and prints always add more depth to an outfit.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you, too, about summertime in this city. The longer I've lived here, the more I can't imagine living anywhere else. And there's just something about this particular season that makes me incredibly happy to be here. Glad to hear you're enjoying yourself, too!
