I don't think that I will ever grow tired of hearts. I just think that they are so cute and fun, and I guess I'm a hopeless romantic. I feel like this outfit just has a romantic vibe to it, from the flowy floral top to the saccharine plum colored skirt, topped off with a ladylike pearl necklace. Add to the mix a pint sized handbag, and I definitely feel a bit more sweet than sassy.
I'm getting more settled into life here in Georgia. Things move a bit slower than they do in the city, and I'm enjoying it. Right now I'm focused on unpacking, organizing my things, and making my room more "me". Trying to transform what pretty much was always a guest room into my own personal space has been a fun experience. Luckily I love the classic furniture that is in my room so that is a great start. A quick switch to my anthropologie bedding instantly changed the vibe of the look of the room. Personal photos also helped to make it seem more home-y. Next step is to find some prints that I love to hang around the room. And maybe some new vases with fresh flowers. I'm looking forward to personalize my living space and make it exactly what I want.
Hello, first post from a new reader : )
ReplyDeleteI do love a purple skirt! Great outfit, very sweet but the shoes tough it up a notch! I really like your belt. I'm on the hunt for cute new waist belts inspired by the ladies on all the Anthro blogs I read each day.
I adore your shoes. Steve Madden always does such a good job of being right on trend with their shoes.
