Gap Dotted Ruffle Dress ($69.50)
This dress is the perfect transition piece to lead into fall. Right now you could wear it alone with flats or sandals for a breezy look, and later you can wear it with a cardigan, belt, tights, and boots for a cozy look. I found the fit to be very flattering (since the drawstring waist can be adjusted) and love the blue/gold color combination. How perfect would this dress look with the Bowtied-Beauty Boots listed below?

Gap Herringbone Band Blazer ($98)
For the most part I prefer cardigans over blazers as a layering piece, but this herringbone jacket with a stand collar caught my eye. It has a great slim fit and would look so very cozy layered over a cable knit sweater and wide leg jeans.
anthropologie Bow-tied Beauty Boots ($248)
Boots are such an integral part of any fall wardrobe. I have plenty of simple boots, both dressy and casual, in my closet, but I don't have any boots that have bows! I love the rich color of the leather, and the bows make me smile.
Forever 21 Scalloped Hem Skirt ($19.80)
I love the scalloped hem of course, and I think that this can easily be dressed up or dressed down. Pair with a printed cardigan and flats for a daytime look, or try it with a dressy black top, tights, and heels for a going out look. Great price point too.
anthropologie Marston Sweater Skirt ($98)
How cozy does this pocketed sweater skirt look? Nothing says fall like this cozy autumn-hued beauty. I would love to wear this with a crisp white button down and
Delia's Nadya Dolman Cardigan ($49.50)
Grey. Cozy. Dolman sleeves. 'Nuff said, I love it.
Marc by Marc Jacobs Saddlery Sophia Convertible Satchel ($478)
I am not in the market for a new handbag, but if I were, this would be the one I'd go for. Love the satchel look (can we say Mulberry Alexa?) and it has an adorable spotted lining! I haven't seen the leather in person, but I've had good experiences with MbMJ leather.
There is so much more fun fall stuff out there but these items just caught my eye for the moment. I'm sure my wishlist will continue to grow as the weather grows cooler. I'm going to try and be wise with my future purchases, only buying what I absolutely love and what will fill a void in my wardrobe. (Note to self: you don't need a single cardigan.) What is everyone else eyeing?
I'll be back with an outfit post tomorrow hopefully!

I HIGHLY recommend the Gap Herringbone Band Blazer. It's light in weight, yet sturdy, and SOFT. Really flattering cut and fit. I tried it on in-store and bought a petite size online :)

I bought that blazer from Gap, and it's quite nice. Not as fitted as I'd like, but overall, a good tweed jacket, which will have to make up for my loss of the Sine Schoolboy Blazer from last winter. I love your other picks too - I bought that $50 for $25 at Gap Groupon last week, so I might need to go take a peek at that dress you listed up top. =D
ReplyDeleteNice picks! My daughter fell in love with the dress and bought it with the 40% off coupon, it's very cute on!
ReplyDeleteAh, yes... the herringbone blazer from BR... I tried it and LOVED it! Pics are on my blog.
ReplyDeleteI have a few anthro skirts on my fall wishlist, but I am trying to be good and save... so maybe I'll only get one or wait for a sale. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm also planning on buying a new watch this fall.
