*LOFT Striped Dress with Zippers in Cinder Grey
*LOFT Ribbon Teardrop Choker
*H&M Black Tights
*Ugg Australia Lynnea Ankle Boots in Cognac
*BB Dakota "Cliffton" Tiered Jacket in Midnight (double breasted version here)
One of the things I love most to wear in the world are things that aren't technically sweatshirts or sweatpants but they feel like they can be. This striped dress with zippers is pretty much a giant sweatshirt to wear outside, pretending to be "real clothes". I love it. It's nice and roomy (I sized up) and I feel like it is such an easy outfit to wear (like most dresses are).
This navy tiered coat reminds me of the Two Paths Trench of last year. Not really sure why I always loved tiered pieces, but this is definitely one of my favorites.
Who can resist such a vibrant and sparkly necklace during this dreary weather?
Edit: If you were interested in my scalloped purse from my post earlier this week, it was just pointed out to me that it is still available at Forever 21!
So cute! Those Uggs are pretty cute. I absolutely love the necklace. You're right -- something cheery needed for this blechy weather. Hope you have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteYou look so cute! That dress reminds me of my Anthro College Ruled Top, but as a dress, which I love!
ReplyDeleteI also love your coat, and have almost that exact one, but mine is from Express!
I love this look. So cute and comfy without being sloppy like actually wearing sweatpants would be!
ReplyDeleteAnd this dress is striped... It`s perfect and more than perfect with navy coat. I really like this outfit.

ReplyDeleteI love that dress it looks so cute and comfy! I totally agree the necklace was much needed!
ReplyDeleteLove love love the tiered coat. Can I ask what size you took in it? I'm usually a 4-6...what would you recommend?
ReplyDeleteminipink4,
ReplyDeleteI am usually a 4 and the M fit well, it may be a tad snug. The coat is in juniors sizing. I am not really able to fit anything really thick under it.
Cute outfit...love the boots

Umm...typo alert! My previous post should have read: "...I was daydreaming of A striped dress!"
ReplyDeleteSorry! I'm an English teacher, and I had to correct my mistake!
The coat is in women's sizes for $65 on Amazon. Just bought it. Love the look!
ReplyDeleteI love your sweatshirt, I mean dress. Those types of pieces are the ultimate in comfort but, it's still really stylish :)
ReplyDeleteThis coat does look like the Two Paths. So very cute! And I really like that necklace. The ribbons and glass/plastic and chainlink work so nicely together to create a luxe statement effect. And those boots -- such a terrific way to keep the tootsies toasty (try saying that five times fast)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your comment on my blog -- much appreciated!
