She's Good As A Mystery

What I'm wearing:
*anthropologie Creative Outlet Tank
*J.Crew (outlet) Striped Chambray Skirt (similar here and here)
*Striped Belt from Laundry Dress (similar here)
*French Sole Welsh Flats in Peach (similar here)
*Botkier Trigger Satchel in Nude

Even though unpacking revealed my hoarding tendencies, I couldn't resist the draw of the Decatur Boutique Warehouse Sale that I found out about through Jinah's blog. I stopped by, grabbed the French Sole flats from this post, and got a chance to chat briefly with the lovely Jinah!

This was definitely an outfit that came together pretty randomly. Since 75% of my wardrobe is still in storage in NY, I had to work with what I had with me and what was left in my parents' closet. I found this skirt that I wore way back (last time I wore it was last year) and wanted to pair it with my green anthro top. Then I found this yellow striped belt on the floor of my closet as I was cleaning it out, and decided it would be a great finishing touch! It's a lot of colors and textures together but I think it goes.

How fun is this super wide belt? It actually goes with this yellow dress.

Scored these flats for around 50% off at the warehouse sale! I thought they were a great light colored flat, and I just love the bow. They remind me of the Ferragamo Varina flats that are out of my price range.

It's really nice being home....

  3. What a fantastic top. I love the small pintucked details. And this outfit looks like you had your entire closet to choose from. I would never have guessed that it was composed of odds and ends.
    Very nice!
