Consignment Shopping!

Annapolis is quite lacking in the vintage/thrift store department, so I did some googling to see what I could come up with. I found a consignment shop called New to You and it was close by, so I decided to see what I could find! Ended up buying 3 dresses! They had a decent selection of clothes, I found a bunch of cute stuff but a lot of it wasn't my size, boo. Consignment and thrifting is all about luck I guess.

The brown and white zebra striped dress was my favorite of the lot! It was only $5! It's a sweaterdress, but light enough that I can wear in the summer. I paired it in this photo with my red thrifted belt (quickly becoming a favorite) and my gold BCBG sandals that I wear everyday.

Apparently I have a thing for animal print right now! This is a leopard print sleeveless shirt dress, very crisp and perfect for summer. It's a tad big on me, but I think it looks all right belted (I do belt everything don't I). For a splash of color I paired this dress with my wine patent pumps (hard to see in this photo). I'm thinking about getting this hemmed a bit (I'm a shorty).

This dress is going to be called my "creamsicle" dress. That is what this dress reminds me of. (I know it's a bit bunchy up top, I didn't realize until pic was uploaded and I am way too lazy to re-take). It's by Free People, and I love the bottom white eyelet ruffle. Carrying my new peacock Rebecca Minkoff Ollie bag (I hate that the only way to access it is through side zips, but I still love it) and wearing the ubiquitous BCBG gold sandals.

All in all I had fun browsing! I also hit up another consignment shop (total bust) and Goodwill. Goodwill didn't have much, almost bit the bullet on a Lilly dress but decided I didn't need it.
