Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil

What I'm wearing:
Ann Taylor LOFT Ruched Neck Shell in Dark Wine
grey Anthropologie drape sweater cardigan
Martin + Osa Slim denim in the Marine Rinse
Steve Madden Intyce boots in Cognac
blue Marc by Marc Jacobs Faridah pure

I adore this top from ATL. I've worn it several times already since I got it when the store was having their Friends & Family promotion. I love the color, I feel like the shape is very flattering. The grey cardigan has gotten a LOT of wear since I purchased it last winter (when I was still working at Anthropologie). It's just a great throw on piece over anything, and it's super cozy and soft. At this point it is also really pill-y, but it won't stop me from wearing it.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. I got to take a detour to Savannah after visiting family in Atlanta! Savannah was absolutely lovely and I had always wanted to go there, especially after reading "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" ages ago. I'll try to post some other photos. The houses and squares here are so interesting and gorgeous. I have an obsession with front porches and balconies, and I definitely got my fill of them in Savannah! Lots of yummy food too.

I've been pretty good about avoiding "Black Friday" shopping! I ordered a couple of items from anthropologie.com that were on sale that I had in my shopping cart for a few days. I decided if they were still in stock on Friday I'd pull the trigger, and I did. But I haven't really gotten sucked into any other shopping bargains.

I can't believe November is already drawing to a close. 2009 has gone by so fast! Only 1 more month, and it's going to be a crazy hectic one.

  1. You look so happy! :) I really like this color combo, and the socks with the boots are so cute. Those jeans are great too—if I make it to a M+O store over my Xmas vacation I'm definitely going to try on some denim.

  4. Hey great post! I stumbled upon your post and love how you put together your outfit =) I have the same Steve Madden Intyce boots and ended up stepping in some mud so I cleaned them. However, in the process I also ended up rubbing off the cognac dye! Has this happened to you as well or is my boot defective? Now I have super light colored patches in all the areas I rubbed the mud off.
