Mad For Plaid

What I'm wearing:
*Martin + Osa Split Neck Ruffle Top (similar look here)
*Martin + Osa Essential Tank in White (similar here)
*anthropologie Plaid Skirt (from eBay) (similar here)
*Black sweater tights
*Pewter Sofft Mary Janes (similar here)
*Black Forever 21 Coat
*Louis Vuitton Speedy Bag

I felt very ladylike today. I think it was the combo of ruffled top + full skirt + simple jacket. The knit top from Martin + Osa has got to be one of my favorites ever. It is just so super soft, lightweight, and perfect for layering. I've had this plaid skirt in my dresser for awhile after I bought it for a great price on eBay, and I'm not really sure why I never wore it. I think I had a hard time finding something to wear on top because I kept trying to pair it with a cardigan and I thought that was just too many buttons all down in a row.

The coat and purse are both my sister's (I love "borrowing" her things!) and I'm not sure if I can ever let go of them. This jacket is so simple and classic and it's from Forever 21 of all places! The purse of course is the iconic Speedy bag and I was never into the LV logo, but I do think this purse is darling.

The weather forecast is not looking good... snow tonight and tomorrow. My flight is super early and I am nervous that my flight will be delayed or cancelled. *Fingers crossed*!

If I am not ^there tomorrow, I'll be very, very sad.

*I'm going to be out of town until Monday... but I will have some posts lined up with some recent try-ons and other random goodness! =)

  1. This looks so great! I love the colors of the skirt and that it has pockets. The ruffled top with it is a very nice touch. Good luck getting out tomorrow.

  2. Ooh, wherever that is looks marvelous. I hope you don't get snowed in.

I love the plaid skirt, and the Speedy looks great with it. I've never been a huge LV gal, but I catch myself wanting this bag from time to time! Like right now. :)

  5. I've got my fingers crossed for you too--hope you make it! What a great ebay find--and very ladylike indeed. I like the 3/4 sleeve coat (wow, F21!) layered over longer sleeves too.
