Leaving On a Jet Plane...

Okay so if you are reading this hopefully I am on a plane headed down south. Away from the cold and the snow. While I'm away I unfortunately won't be able to respond to comments or emails, but I will get back to you as soon as possible!

I thought that while I was gone I would schedule a few posts with some outfits in them, even if they technically aren't my "outfit of the day". I scored a few sale items on major markdown at anthropologie and  I love them! I can never walk out of that store empty handed...

This outfit is made up of...
*Navy J.Crew (outlet) Piazza Sweater Jacket (similar here)
*Martin + Osa Essential Tank (another one here)
*anthropologie Lacemaker Skirt (similar here)
*Lanvin Cap-Toed Slingbacks

This Lacemaker skirt was on my wishlist months ago, when it first came out! I didn't want to pay $148 for it, but paying $29.95 for it was an easy decision. I love the yellow color, and the lace overlay is super cute! When I bought it I knew that my navy Piazza jacket would be perfect with it, and I think the color is appropriate for warmer weather as well!

Here are some other anthro skirts I've been loving for spring!

Drifting Jasmine Skirt
Love this skirt for spring, I think it would look so fresh with a crisp white button down tucked in and a cute belt layered over it.

Above-the-Fray Skirt
Isn't this chambray skirt just darling, especially the bow? I saw this in the store and thought it looked so perfect for spring! I think for a nice casual look you could layer a bright color knit over it.

Do-si-do Skirt
As you probably see from my previous post, I'm still mad for plaid! I think this checkered combination with it's splashes of pink looks great! And the full skirt is always a plus.

I hope y'all don't miss me too much... hopefully I'll be back with a tan.

  3. I didn't realize they marked these down further... was there yesterday but didn't check on the pricing of these. They had an odd fit but for $29 I might go back and get it altered.

  5. The skirt looks great on you. I wanted it so desperately especially because the price is amazing, but I am blessed with no hips and at barely 5'3", it was just too long on me. Great outfit - hope you're having fun!

  6. Have a wonderful time down South! Where are you headed? I loooove the skirt on you! I always thought it was so beautiful, but it was a disaster on me, unfortunately. Pairing it with that boxy navy jacket was genius!

  10. You totally made my regret not getting that skirt - not that it would look nearly as awesome on me anyways!

Have fun on your trip! Travel safe!
